Used the UMDNJ docs in Moorestown (Mueller and Gallagher) for many years. Had OK results. Last round was miserable for me and found the Mueller to be rigid, and prescribe medications which were not effective for me. After several go rounds with her, I spoke with the senior doc (Gallagher) and let him know that I felt like the practice was doing more to work against me than for me. Thankfully, he prescribed some medications which were significantly more effective, and I felt that he really wanted to help. Headaches subsided in January, thought we had that cleared up, but about 10 days after answering a supposedly confidential survey, I got a letter saying they wouldn't treat me anymore because we disagreed on treatment. Apparently, was more important to them to experiment with medications on neophytes than to actually solve the problem at hand, especially for a 18 year patient such as me who kind of knows the ropes. I was referred to Jefferson Headached Clinic in Phila, but have not been there as yet. Anyway, should you happen to find a good doc, I would be happy to work with someone new next time around.
