Please consider O2 as your first line of defence, so many before you will bear up this sentiment. Imatrex, verapamil or for me Maxalt are secondary and only to be used on severe (kip 7 or above ).
O2 is basic treatment, do not accept anything other than that level. Verapomil 240mg has been my standard treatment for years. Now the Mayo clinic is telling me to increase the Verap. to 480 MG. Who knows what this will do, not me! Prednisone did not work for me. It doeas for others, we are all unique in this awuful testing environment. Hang in there, and understand this. Your Dr. doeas not know as much about our problem as we do. Be agressive and do not expect that Dr. to know what to do, be a partner in your treatment, work with them and expect results.
