When you say that your friend is not getting any relief whatsoever, do you mean that the pain is continuous, as in lasting all night? How long have you been pain-free, since the Inderal "cured" you? If your friend has clusters, you and he can find lots of info by clicking the link buttons on the left of your screen? The cluster quiz would be a good starting point.
