those hard spots are found, stretched for several seconds and released. I don't understand the prinicles, something about gunk or junk is built up in the muscle and has to be broken up. There has to be a knack to this, the real sharp looking young female therapist that a male would tend to pick didn't seem to have the touch and was under the impression that mio-fascia was more BS. But they had an older women working there and she really knew her stuff, that was over two years ago and not a CH since by head twisting. You can put your hand on that hard spot and gently pull it and hold it for about 15 seconds, now the direction you pull it is very important as well as the pressure, I can't help you with this, my older therapist had a huge book with pictures and would look up each muscle, I never got the name of that book. I thought all this stuff was BS, but have to admit it works. I couldn't raise my right arm after my accident, met her four years later, and she worked on it, now my right arm can fly to the ceiling. If she got a little to rough with my neck, would get a CH, couldn't believe my nose would stuff up by turning my head to fast, but she would applied mio fascia around my eye and right side of the head very gently and that would ease the headache, all I can say is weird.
