This works for me: Prednisone @100mg/day for five days at onset of cycle working up to 640mg/day Verpamil at which point abruptly ending Prendisone. Imitrex backup for break throughs. Interesting experience this cycle: have experienced 'warning' headaches since September and went ahead and have been taking 320 mg Verapamil daily. All fingers crossed, this cluster hasn't arrived and 'warning/lingering' headaches are better. We'll see - hope this is not wishful thinking. I've been going through this for nearly twenty years (every 2 1/2 years)!
