If they picked up one of the many viruses going around, the virus can purge the "address book" for e-mail and forward out the virus on it's own. I practically lost my system a while back from probably the same thing. Norton is now protecting, checking and cleaning everything that goes through my computer. The vague "subject matter" was enough for me not to open this one anyway. If you don't have a virus scanner ... get one! ;) Norton is good.Dave
