Great responses to my question...thanks to all!Being a white male who has experienced life and living in other countries (Singapore, India, Western Europe) there are certain aspects of diet that one must look at in order to appreciate and understand 'the beast'. Let me compare myself to someone of Asian descent, for example, living in the US or Canada. There will (likely) be certain foods ingested by the Asian being raised by an Asian family that would most likely NOT have crossed my plate as I was growing up. The most obvious being fish and seafood. Being born and raised on the Canadian prairies, these items were difficult to find in a fresh form and were not a staple of the western diet...beef, chicken, potatoes etc would fill my plate. Fish and the like have certain fatty acids that affect cerebral performance...could there be a connection to this and Asians being 'immune' to CH? This simple observation could be utterly elementary but it does raise an interesting point: diet and lifestyle (from birth) affect MANY aspects of adult life, could CH and 'immunity' to the beast be one of them?Let me know what your thoughts are on this please.Forgive my crude example that seems to play on the sterotype of Asian versus Western diet but please undertand it needed to be presented as such to prove my point and illustrate my simple theory.
