on some medical studies they require a 3 month dry out period. You say your headaches aren't any worse? It's been my experience that where O2 wouldn't work on certain meds, it works great off the meds. Need patience, know that is easy to say, hard to live by, want to pop a pill the instant a CH comes on, hang in there. If it doesn't work, can always pour in the pills.
