Hi Simon,
I think you're close, but instead of insanity setting in during an attack, I tend to think more along the lines that is more likely confusion.
I think our brains do not know how to deal with a CH attack. We in turn tend to just follow the reactions of our confused brain.
I've been experimenting with a type of self mind control over the last 4 months or so. Basically, trying to teach my brain how to react to an attack. It's been a slow and tough course, but is paying off. I posted this method for the first time about a week or so ago, and could find and repost it if you're interested.
I know it sounds impossible, but today I CAN sit somewhat calmly through a high level attack. It's only because I've been practing and teaching my brain what to do during attacks, one small step at a time, and most importantly ... during every single attack, no matter what level.
I'd say it's confusion in the mind instead of insanity. Our brains are normal.
Regards,
Dave
