The experts have given their view whether or not Verapamil does interfere with the shroom treatment; I cannot add anything to this.

BUT, Verapamil is NOT a vaso-dilator (alcohol is one, with the known effect). The action of Verapamil on the vaso-dilating part of a cluster attack is to SLOW down the dilation, thus damping down or even suppress the attack.

Verapamil does not 'just attempt to treat the symptoms', but it is the preventative of FIRST choice that helps many.

I too am hoping for a cure for CH, but in the years to come until one is found, I'm happy to treat the symptoms; life is much easier that way.

I wish you good luck with the shroom treatment.
