Dr. Goadsby claims he's had better success with prescribing the regular release.
I started this cluster with the extended release and triptans. Bad part of the cluster. Headaches kept coming.
At week 6 I switched to regular verap (120mg/3xday) and cafergot and got the headaches under control. Been on that combo for the past 8 weeks and doing pretty good. Only a few small breakthroughs which the O2 handles.
