Go to home depot and go to the wallpapper section and find a product they call igued stripper, go to the hard ware section and buy a pump up sprayer (IF you don't already have one) put the liquid paper stripper in the sprayed full strengte and spray the areas that haven't come up you and get them pretty wet, let it sit uptil you can see it's starting to dry out on the bare concrete, while you still at home depot pick up a garden edger hoe, they are straight edged and look like a putty knofe on the end of a long stick, sharpen the end if you can without getting it out of square, spray down the 2nd coat of liquid stripper tne in 15 minutes thake the square edged hoe in and finish scraping up the rest of te backing, it should come right up, after you get the floor completely cleaned follow the cleaning instructins for the walpapper remover, the excess in the concrete might cause whatever your appluing next not to stick if not cleaned up properly, Have fun Pappy
