we do things a little differently than the rest of the world.
At our shops (we call them MegaMalls) during the hot summer months they don't sell bathing suits, T shirts, sandals or short pants. Those are all put away in March. During the summer we buy heavy winter coats, gloves, and snow boots.
Right after the 4th of July (our Independence day, you probably remember our independence from whom) the Thanksgiving (the 3rd Thursday in November) sales start.
3 weeks before Thanksgiving we put up Christmas trees in the MegaMalls and have the biggest sale of the year, the Christmas Sales, the day after Thanksgiving. Billions of dollars are spent on Christmas gifts. The day after Christmas is "Return the Christmas Gifts Day". That's the day we return all the Christmas gifts for billions of dollars and spend it on bathing suits, T shirts, sandals and short pants before March gets here. Simple huh?
