They are of the same drug classification but aren't interchangable, have the same actions and reactions to certain medications.
The only differences I can find in my drug book are that Prednisone is taken by mouth and Prednisolone can be given by mouth, thru IV, by injection and rectally.
Given a chance to look at it a little closer,I might could tell you more. Will get back with ya.
