The only advice I can give you, for what you are describing, is to see your Doctor. See if he/she can give you a referral to a good neurologist, who could help you better diagnose your condition. Some things I'm not quite sure about, are the duration of your headaches, clusters usually last anywhere from 30 min, to 2 hours. Never heard of them going away in a couple minutes. The waking up with the pain is a typical cluster symptom. So is the pain you describe with the piercing arrow through your temple, but most of us have that pain shoot into our eye on whatever side our headache is. I understand about the financial aspect of getting yourself diagosed and treated, but if these headaches are something you cannot go about your daily life with, it is imperative you seek help.
