it stopped working...still on it though. For 10 years my 120 mgs., then 240 mgs prevented CH, but BOOM - this fall back they came. Tried going up on the dose and ended up in the ER. My neuro just told me that it is NOT a benign drug - there can be serious ramifications if one can't handle a high dosage, such as passing out from bradycardia, not enough pumping action from teh heart, therefore ischemia... I asked to increase even after ending up in the ER and got a pretty emphatic "no".
