Here is a picture of the father imported from Germany as was the mother. The German sire is much larger than the American counter part, 29 to 25 inches at the shoulder and weights around 125 pounds as opposed to the American standard of 85 pounds. There is a huge demand for the German bred dogs here in the states, much larger more intelligent dog. I am planning on keeping one of the male pups from this litter, they are a great family, companion, and protective dog.
