We could narrow ourselves down to specific traits but I'm afraid that will neither prove nor disprove a genetic link theory. I'm a Driver Alcohol Ed. instructor and the genetic link for alcoholism is always a hot topic. There are established psychological, behavioral and some physical traits that are common to alcoholics but thats all they are, common traits. Isolating a common gene is far more complex than identifying common traits. Twin studies and adoption studies have been done done that stongly indicate a genetic link to alcoholism, yet thats all they are, indications. So piss off. Only kidding, just had to throw that in for shits and giggles.
