but it never worked for me...unfortunately there was nothing else available for chs..or so said the neuro I was seeing..this was years before Imitrex came out..all it did for me was help me sleep alittle better at nite and when a ch did hit, I was so drugged, the pain was not as intense. I am on Topamax now...The only way it worked for me though was to start on a high dose of 200mg the first nite...usually they start you on a dose of 25mg and work you up to 200mg...I was pf the first nite...The side effects were terrible for about 3 weeks...And I am suffering from pretty bad depression now from it...but I am still pf...So I guess you have to take the good with the bad...Sort of a trade off...Email me if you need to ask anymore questions...smiles,nancyc
