Hi, i have read this board off and on for a while.
I get an occasional migraine, but i can deal with that. In january '01, i suffered a nasty concussion.
My doctor put me on Vicodin until Halloween.
I have had CT scans, MRIs and nothing shows up but i am still having pain. A lot. My newest neuroligist keeps putting me on different Migraine drugs like Imitrex.
Should i even be taking them without a migraine?
the imitrex hurt me so much i would rather sit here in pain, but i really hate the thought of sitting here the rest of my life in pain.
He recently gave me elavil but i was scared to take it, because i am not depressed. The latest thing he gave me is Zomig. Wont that hurt just like the Imitrex? He said it wasnt the same type but i donttrust him anymore.
Isnt there a way to ease the pain without altering my personality?
