I have suffered with clusters for about 10 years, once having a headache for about 7 months almost constantly. I was prescribed cafergot for this pain and it still works well for me. I only have one about 1 time per month now, and when I know one is starting I take the medication right away and for the most part, it disapears.
I understand that it is mostly men who suffer from this, I am a 62 year old woman. From reading the entries in the message board, I conclude that most suffer much more pain than I do, so I am lucky. Thanks for the site.
