am a strong person with a very high pain tolerance, but this had me on my knees begging for mercy. I didn't know what was wrong with me and neither did anyone else. I went in to the ER three times from 1980 to 1986 when my clusters ended. I remember this because I bought a house in 1980, and had surgery in 1986. I don't remember how many times I went before that.

For some reason, as soon as I got to the ER, they put me on oxygen (each time I went). They also gave me a shot. I thought it was the shot that worked. Maybe it was the 02 or the headache was ending. I didn't care if I had just 5 minutes of a headache left when I got there. Every minute counts when you're about die from pain.
