Think that you will find that our two resident experts on the subject ARE considered to be "old salts". They simply limit their posts.
Don't think that this board wants to be labled as just a bunch of old drugged out hippies advocating illegal subtances.
The link is there, right there for anyone to find and research.
It doesn't work for everyone, though from what I've seen it's better than anything else.
Some of the "old salts" have found their meds of choice, can manage their pain, and are not interested in changing as long as what's working continues to work.
Lots of people who have had success post not at all or infrequently.
If you've had success taking one pill, one time, you lose your taste for discussing dosages of verapamil and imitrex.
Growing mushrooms, like any esoteric hobby, has its own language. My learning curve was pretty painful...and I'm still having trouble doing it properly. I lurk to offer advice, if needed, and to gain knowledge for myself.
Anyway, that's my impression of it.
