During the last 8 weeks of my last cluster, I would take a cafergot tablet in the early afternoon, when I could feel the shadows building. It would clear my head and no headache would develope. I'd take another one in the evening, just before bed to ward off the nightime headache. worked pretty well for me. Used O2 for any breakthrough headaches.
