During a cluster about 15 years ago, I was taking 3 asprin every 3 hours, all day long for a month (thought it would act to tame down the headaches). At the end of that month I started heaving blood. The asprin had created a duodenal ulcer. The doc asked if I had been taking asprin. I told him that I'd taken 500 of them in the past month. He just looked at me and said, "That will do it".
