I've been trying to stay out of the whole deal with the troll who's posting to disrupt the board, but I would like to point something out.
DJ not only deletes this child's post, he also has to delete the replies, else they'd be totally out of place, confuse people and perhaps inadvertently cause a flame war.
For those who don't know about managing a mb like this, each of those deletions requires DJ to go into the directory, identify the post and archive it. Not exactly on a par with sweeping caves in Afghanistan, but a lot of work anyway.
DJ has a full time job, in addition to managing this board and site. The Afghan analogy wasn't arbitrary...DJ's one of the military professionals who's defending our country and supporting our anti-terrorist efforts. Yeah, he's home in the USA right now, but he's done his share of hotzone duty and is subject to re-assignment anytime.
There's nothing we posters can do to relieve DJ of the burden of having to archive the child's posts, but we don't need to add to his burden by posting replies to it.
Just something to think about.
Oh, and I regret that the child will probably post under this, using my name and causing DJ even more work, but if all will follow the advice others have given (ignore it and they will go away), this will end soon.
