In 1999 the only medicatin that stopped the HA was methergine. This drug has similiar chemical properties as sansert but without the side effects. It constricts blood vessells and was used succesfully in a small study using a small group of cluster patients
During the last 6 weeks I have been using it with success to stop the HA from comming. However today they broke thru. I am going to try to increase the dose to .4 mg 4 times a day.
Has anyone else ever tried the drug and if so what dosage and what success have you had. Let me know if you know of any dangers or side effects. The only danger I know of is that I am not suppose to take imetrix while using methergine.
