my husband has had cycles like that and mentioned the same residual pain you do. For him, sometimes, it means that the cycle is ending. Kinda takes one final kick at it before it leaves for good. So, you're not alone. :)
Good time to try the water treatment if you are otherwise med-free - sometimes that will push the cycle right out the door!
