100% of the same problem Fenton. I found that any exercise specific to the lats aggrevates the knot the worst. Sometimes when I pushed the lat area I ended up with a kip 4 shadow either during my workout or a 7 at the end of my workout. I even at one point saw sports medicine docs because I thought I had micro tears in the muscle group that weren't healing...
In the end, I had to eliminate incline presses and upright lateral rows from my workout altogether. Those were the worst triggers. They were my favorite lifts at the gym too. Whatta bitch, huh?
