I've had clusters most of my life. The only thing that ever worked for me (when it finally became available) was Imitrex injections - until now!
I started a bout in mid December - after a 15 month remission - and was prescribed Prednisone (60mg/day for 2 weeks, then reducing it by 5mg/day for 12 days) and some Imitrex just in case. I never needed the Imitrex and I've just completed the Prednisone and no headaches!!
Ask your neurologist about it if you haven't already.
