Sure if you want to go through life mis-diagnosed and mis-treated. Otherwise tell the doc all you know. Remember YOU PAY HIM for what he does. A doctor/patient relationship is a partnership. Some Docs are completely CH illiterate. Some welcome the knowledge, others egos get in the way. I'll be damned if I'd going to continue to suffer just to keep someones ego intact! If he becomes stand offish or egotistical, find another doc. He may be very interested in what you've discovered.
