Just began using computer last Thursday. Have had CH f/15years. Very grateful to Dr. that finally cared enough to research & point me in right direction. I have classic symptoms & last episode laster six months.
I am almost 50 and the duration has continued to get longer each episode. The neurologist starts me on prednisone taper w/Depakote(1000mgdaily) I read as many letters as I could handle but didn't notice any Depakote users. The Imitrex shots work ok but with the frequency of headaches in 24hr. period who wants or can afford or get that many injections. Six months on Depakote does make me a little crazy and eating food becomes a problem. Will this ever end!
