It's very important that your dad isn't taking any other meds if he tries this treatment, Bob. It will definitely wash out any good that the meds are doing.
Also, if he has any kidney or liver problems, it's important that he NOT do the water treatment. Overloading water can be very dangerous if there are pre-existing weaknesses.
IS your dad on any meds?
