My husband has just broken his cycle with a prednisone burst (starting at 70 mgs for 4 days, then decreasing by 5mgs a day), and Verapamil (currently at 320mgs). Imitrex and/or oxygen to abort each attack.
I agree with Melissa - call your neuro back, tell them you are feeling suicidal and that you need some help right NOW. Don't take no for an answer! You've just found an extended family that really cares and doesn't want you to go anywhere!!
