Painting is poetry
an act so sublime
Pigment cascade
colours do rhyme
Rich are the words
a canvas reflect
Drinking its full
on fancy and fact
Realism, surrealism…
avant-garde
The stroke of a brush
creating art
Your eye does see
I too behold
But varied the view
as pictures unfold
This to the heart
give rhythm and beat
Emotions are stirred
the poem succeed
