and as you've surely noticed..we all know where you are coming from!! Talk to your GP tomorrow and get prescriptions for whatever you think might work and enough to last you until you see the neuro. I take verapamil as a preventative 4 x 80mg a day and have imitrex to abort. The imitrex is a God send..gets the suckers within 5 minutes. I've been pain free for 6 weeks today!! So hang in there and be tough with your GP. He/she can get you the meds you need. Also, you might want to print out some of the information you'll find on this sight and take it with you when you meet your GP. It could help you in getting what you need. Good Luck!!
