As anyone of us longtime sufferers know, health insurance plans don't cover Imitrex inj in the quantities we need. I've had to fight everyone to get anything more than 1-2 cartridges per week. To get around this, once they up the refill qty, I continue to get it refilled even after the ch's stop and I'm painfree. This way I build up a supply before the next bout of attacks (when mine peak, I go several exhausting days with 8 - 12 attacks per day). I also used the extending tip --- works okay except when they're real bad. Then it takes up to 30 minutes of hell for it to work. Anyway, that's how I cope for what it's worth. Love this site, you're the only ones that really understand the hell.
