I experienced the same during heavy attacks (kip 8). It feels like a computer when its CPU is busy at 99%: the pain takes up so much energy that speaking becomes difficult. It passes as soon as the attack is over. If it lingers on afterwards for you, maybe it is a good idea to talk to your neuro about this.
