I'm waiting for my doc to come to a decision about my headaches, but his first impression was sinus or cluster. My sinus xray came back negative and I went in for a CAT scan. They might get an eye full on that one since I happen to be at the height of the headache when they did it.
Anyway, while I'm waiting for my second session with the doc, I thought I'd be smart today and wait for one of the headaches to occur during the day and NOT take anything to stop it so that I could be aware of all the symptoms. (The only ones I had before seeing the doc on Friday were three that woke me up in the night but over the weekend, they started in the day too.) Well, aside from wishing for death or at least a large mallet to beat my head with - I noticed a few things I hadn't before because I was too focused on the pain. Checked WebMD and the only symptom I don't seem to have is the droopy eyelid but everything else matches to a T.

What I'd love to know is...

How do you handle being at work when one hits?

I've gotten lucky so far by having the long weekend and mine have been before or after work. I seem to get them at 2 AM, one between 6 AM and noon, and right at 7 PM. But, my God, if I got one at work like the one I just went through - everyone will think I'm losing my mind!!! I know I looked like I was doing some sort of bad acting off a third-rate horror flick.
