I have to go for test every three months since I am in remission for my cancer. I was having bad headaches on the same side of my head as my clusters but they were not clusters. It hurt fairly bad, A couple of weeks ago I got hit by a vacuum that fell off the stairs and hit me in the head. I naturally thought my headaches were a result of that. I had also been having spells where I would just all of a sudden feel sick and light headed and have to lay down. To make a long story short, all my test came back.
My cancer is still in remission, and he said looks a little better. That is the good news I am still in remission J!
The bad news is I am having mini strokes. That what’s happening when I have these spells. They did not find any clot but said that low blood pressure was what was causing them. I always had low blood pressure and taking the verapamil takes it lower and you guys know how I play with that med. Upping it and lowering it. Well it seems that when a person’s blood pressure is lowered too much it does not produce enough oxygen and that is what has caused my mini strokes. Now I HAVE to stop Smoking! (Smile Jack) Plus I am now off verapamil and for a while cannot use imitrex.
So guys before you play around with verapamil check with your doctor don’t cause yourself to have a stroke. I always thought it was high blood pressure that caused a stroke not Low but now I find out both can cause a stroke.
