I was on topamax and it did the same thing for me...I noticed any medication I took was potentiated...If I took a tylenol, it made me sleepy...I was pf on Topamax for about 3 months but got so depressed that I had to stop it...But I remained pf for about 2 weeks after I stopped taking it...it took a long time to get out of my system. I am a Drug rehab nurse and I told a friend once that it would be a great drug for people with opiate addictions because there is no way you could take alot of narcotics with it...I had to take a Loratab for pain while on it and it felt like I had taken 4 Loratabs...Strange that you mentioned this...Also, I had only a few breakthrus with topamax, and had to take imitrex shots..but when I did, yes, they worked alot faster and better...Good luck to you, smiles,nancyc
