Verapamil and lithium are a couple of favorites around here and they work for many of us.... especially verapamil. Many people here (including my self) take verapamil everyday whether we have a CH attack or not. And no, I do not consider myself a junkie. Maybe ask your doctor about verapamil an dlithium and other preventatives... before your next cycle begins. If your doctor says "huh?" it might be time to find a new doctor. Also... when you tried Imitrex, was it the injection type or tablets? The tablets do not work quickly, but the injection does.
