Reading your posting is like hearing myself. I too try to stay away from meds as much as possible. During my cycle I take Imitrex only if extremely needed. I have been taking Imitrex for many years now, luckily w/o major side effects.
The least invasive approach for dealing with my CH's have been Oxygen and a Blood Redirecting Technique (suggested by fellow CH sufferers at this site). The combination the these two have really made a difference for me during my last CH cycle Let me know if you would like more detail on this.
