Each time one of you offers words of encouragement, compassion and understanding of the beast to another suffering soul you help to lessen that person's pain and fear. Just the knowing that you are not alone is one of the greatest medicines around. Believe me, after 30 years of being so misunderstood by doctors, family, co-workers....almost believing I was some kind of sicko or wuss..this site and the people here are a breath of fresh air, a port in the storm.
