know the differance between a dependance and an addiction. Stadol is a narcotic and both are possible. The dependance, is usedregularly is unavoidable, your body simple becomes dependant upon the drug for relief. Addiction is a whole other ballgame. Addiction is when you become psychologically dependant on the drug. When you are convinced that nothing else will do and that you must have the drug at any cost.
Ex: Someone in my life is completely dependant upon oxycontin for relief from chronic pain suffered from a botched neck surgery. She is not however addicted. She would, and does, try any other treatments available to her to lessen the dependance on the oxycontin. Are you becoming addicted? Only you can make that call.
