What do you do during the 24 hours when you can't use a triptan? I'd like to change from amerge to imitrex shots, cuz it's just too darned long to wait for the pill to work. I am unsure what to do. Literature says you can't take imitrex within 24 hrs. of other triptan. (I don't wanna die of stroke or heart...)Is this true? Are there narcotics that work well? i've never had relief from things like codeine. I get about 4 headaches a day and am terrified of facing them without relief. I will be getting the oxygen tank after i see the neoro. tomorrow. Any suggestions? Thanks....
