You stick the hypodermic in the bottle, turn it upside down, and pull back on the hypodermic plunger until you have 3ml (don't need more)... pull hypodermic out of the bottle. With the hypodermic still pointing needle up... push the hypodermic plunger in slowly until a little Imitrex comes out (this gets the air out). Now inject the way you would do with the auto-injector. Should take like 2 secs.... doing it too fast makes a painful bubble.
