I was just going to post my hello when I saw your post. I too have not had any clusters for over a year now and last night I woke up with one. At first I was confused... what was wrong with me... then it came back...clusters...and all that entails. The slow build up to 5 or 6 a day. The head banging, groaning, silent suffering for months. UGH!!! But last time I had them I came here and believe it or not, just having this place, these people to talk to helps. I don't take any meds or oxygen or anything because the meds don't work and I can't get a doc to give me oxygen unless it is in an emergency room. But at 3 o'clock in the morning there is always someone here who will talk and joke and keep you company and try their best to help you through it.
I am ashamed that I have not kept in touch during my cluster free time and I hope that these people will forgive me. But I have moved from Virginia to Arizona (evidently change of climate did not help)in the mean time so it was a busy year.
Like I say though, these people can help, mainly just because they know, first hand, what you are going through. Good luck!! PFD
