I have found exercise to be particularly effective in killing the pain for a period of time.
I've set up a stationary bicycle in my house. Whenever I feel the shadow and first signs of the pain encroaching, I jump on the bike, pedal my ass off for about 10 to 15 minutes...to the point that it's difficult to catch my breath...and ALL PAIN, SHADOW, SWEATING, CHILLS, YAWNING, and EYE WATERING disappear for anywhere from 1 to 6 hours.
When I'm at home and the stuff comes back I jump on the bike again.
Anyone had similar experiences???
