This is Connie. I talked to you around midnite last nite. Hubby was having an off the Kip scale attack. Thanks so much for making me push him to the Emergency Room. Thank gosh the roads were slippery and he wore his skis!!
My doc was there as was a "sympathetic" E.R. nurse who didn't raise her voice and ask "how are we today???."
There was a sympathetic intern that I happen to know and who loves knowing it ALL about everything and so he, too, was very very sympathetic.
Hubbys butt is sore. Pay the price and feel "good."
1st shot, Phenergan and 25 of Demerol.....no good.
2nd shot, 25 more of Demerol..............no good.
3rd shot, 50 more of Demerol .....yippeeeeee
A script for home for vicodin 10mg. Doc agreed that he could deal with the "rebound" and get small relief. He also increased his Verapamil from 360 to 480 and said to let the neuro know.
Hubby is happy, I am happy even tho the struggle continues.
